Taps For Pressure Sensing Pumps

Twist valve taps are designed to work with pressure sensing/diaphragm pumps, these work by opening the valve creating a drop in pressure, this is what activates the pump then when the tap is closed the pressure increases and switches the pump off.

They are not really designed to run on submersible pumps as they will continue to run when the tap is closed, however they will work if you put a pressure sensing switch in the system between the tap and pump, this will detect the pressure change and switch the pump on and off.

These will also work on mains pressure and are great for garden kitchens, garages, sheds summer houses and wash areas.
